He looked at himself in the mirror and that was were the battled started. ALSO WHERE IT ENDED.
You can’t win a battle your not prepared to fight. Unless it’s against yourself! You are more than equipped to win that fight.
So when you look at your self in the mirror, after the first step of getting out of the bed, and I mean really take a look at your self, this is where it begins and ends.
What you see and do in that very moment is going to determine how the rest of your day will turn out.
I defeat myself every morning now! Then I kick my butt in some exercise.
So what you can only do two minutes of running. Yesterday you didn’t do any.
Yesterday you probably let “myself” defeat you. Time is not wasted on a fight worth fighting. Time is wasted not doing the first step. If your fighting every day….great keep up the great work! There are more steps.
I had my share of self doubt and I was so tired of it. I could tell that a loss was coming. My family.
So I had to fight harder. I continue to fight. Don’t worry it gets harder.
But if you have done some thing different today then give your self a mental high five.
Now take a deep breathe, relax, and forget about it. Make another new memory.
You have to continue to reshape your thinking, I’m not saying don’t take a break.
I’m saying don’t think that you need a break. Keep moving, at your pace….
I like to be the tortoise. It’s not when you finish, it’s more like how you finish!
